RSG Debug Version

If you are having any troubles with your grammar. For example, if some sentences NEVER come up no matter how often you try or if you are not seeing any output at all besides Segmentation fault, then you should try running your grammar through the RSG program with debugging output. This program will show exactly how the your grammar is being read. Look out for anything that says ERROR

The debugging output is structured as follows:

Details of reading in your grammar
- Name of each non-terminal
- All of the productions associated with each non-terminal
- Any errors that were detected
Details of the generating a sentence (i.e. expanding the grammar)
- Shows which production was chosen for a definition
- Shows how a production expands each successive terminal and nonterminal

Using the debug applet is the same as the first RSG applet. Click the Browse button, browse to your RSG data file, select it so that the name of the file appears in the text box.

Click the Submit button to try out your file.
