A fifth year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Duke University, I work with Dr. Ron Parr on projects relating to feature selection for value function approximations of MDPs, as well as other topics in reinforcement learning. Besides Dr. Parr's research group, I am involved in the Duke Robotics, Intelligence, Vision, and Economics (DRIVE) reading group. For more information about research on these topics at Duke, please see the DRIV Wiki linked to on the left of this page.

Aside from my research, I have a deep interest in teaching and Computer Science education. If you're looking for information on FLAIL or on what Mac Mason and I presented at SIGCSE, you can find that information here.

Starting in the fall, I will be an Assistant Professor at the U.S. Naval Academy. Beat Army!
